Blake Graham Fellowship – Katie Clow, PhD candidate in Pathobiology. Katie (advisor Dr. Claire Jardine) is investigatin wildlife ecology and factors affecting the distribution of Lyme disease in Ontario.
Vanier Scholarship – Monica Baquero, a PhD candidate in the department of Pathobiology is advancing the knowledge of the pathogenesis of Johne’s disease with her research. Her advisors are Brandon Plattner and John Prescott
Vanier Canada Graduate Scholorahip – Sherilee Harper, Population Medicine Investigating the impact of climate change on surface drinking water quality and infectious gastrointestinal disease in Inuit Nunaat.
Canadian Institutute of Health Research PhD Fellowship – Maureen Anderson in Pathobiology. Investigating hand-hygiene compliance in veterinary clinics
Soren Rosendal Memorial Research – Maged Gomaa, Pathobiology
Dr. Donald R. MacDonald Memorial Book Prize – Lisa Scott, Population Medicine
Colonel Benjamin F. Leach Scholarship – Erica Pufall, Population Medicine
The first recipients of the Blake Graham Fellowhip, Simon Otto, Erin Leonard and Dianna Wolfe. The fellowships provide support for veterinarians working on graduate research in the area of public health and emerging zoonotic disease.
